Our story

Taiwan Housing was born in 2024, the year I arrived in Taiwan, my partner Erika’s homeland. During that time, I realized how challenging it can be for foreigners unfamiliar with traditional Chinese to find their ideal home on this beautiful island. That’s why we founded Taiwan Housing: to be a starting point for foreigners to integrate into life in Taiwan and make finding a suitable home simpler and more accessible.

A growing global community

Each year, an average of 100,000 international students come to Taiwan. By 2023, approximately 800,000 foreign residents were living on this beautiful island, a number that continues to grow, thanks to the exceptional quality of life Taiwan offers. We sincerely hope to ease the stress of finding accommodation in a new country, making the process smoother and more straightforward.

At the same time, language barriers often make it difficult for landlords and real estate agents to reach foreign residents. Taiwan Housing not only simplifies the listing process but also ensures that property listings are visible to thousands of potential foreign buyers or renters.

But our mission goes beyond just property listings. We understand that life often takes you beyond Taiwan’s borders. Many professionals, students, and families relocate for work, study, or new opportunities, and finding reliable information about housing, local communities, and relevant regulations can be overwhelming.

To support these needs, in 2026 we began providing resources, guidance, and connections for Taiwanese expatriates, helping them get started with living abroad and connect with local partner agents familiar with Taiwanese culture, as well as relocation partners, so they can settle in smoothly and feel close to home no matter where they are.
